21st March 2026 - Beginners Lino Print Workshop (Mark Making & Pattern Creating)

Learn the art of lino printing in this hands-on printmaking workshop with Shelley, perfect for beginners and those looking to develop their creative skills. You’ll start by exploring mark making and learning how to safely use a range of lino carving tools before designing and cutting your own detailed lino tiles. Using your handmade tiles, you’ll create a series of unique patterned designs and produce multiple A4 lino prints.

You’ll have the opportunity to make several lino tiles and prints, all of which you’ll take home so you can continue practicing lino printing in your own time.

For safety, finger protectors and cutting boards are provided, as the carving tools are very sharp. Aprons are available, but please wear clothing you don’t mind getting ink on, as printmaking inks may stain.

This workshop is not suitable for young children.
